o another year has passed and what a year. 2012 saw the birth of our second album, Börn Loka. And to tell you the truth we couldn´t be happier with the release. The reception from you, our dear fans, and critics has been really positive and for that we´re grateful. The year 2012 also saw Skálmöld gaining new territories and let´s hope the new year will bring us to even greater number of new shores, new lands, new cities, new fans and most importantly to those of you who have been following us through the years.

So prepare for new battles in 2013.

As we celebrate the release of our second album, Börn Loka, we are happy to launch this brand new Website. We have never had a decent online home throught the years, but finally it is here up and running and we are damn proud of it! In this day and age the main focus is surely on the Social Media and not on the "old school" websites, so one should not expect too frequent updates here. Nevertheless, this will become the heart and soul of Skálmöld online, a monument to the accomplishments in the band's lifetime and a gateway to our more lively and before mentioned Social Media sites. So, feel free to look around, send us feedback and please join us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Flickr, YouTube and Soundcloud.
